A very important event was taking place between 9th October - 18 December 2011 in Dublin: every Sunday qualified language teachers, teachers of Russian, phylologists, methodologists from around Ireland convened at the Teachers’ Club to partake in a teacher training course “Fundamental Knowledge in Methodology of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language to Adults”. A big friend and mentor of Eurolog-Ireland has been awarded the Medal of Pushkin
On the 4 November in the Moscow Kremlin by Presidential Decree, Sarah Smyth, Head of the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies (TCD), was awarded the prestigious Medal of Pushkin.
